INGREDIENTS
  • 1 12 oz. can of beer
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 dash of hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
  • Ice cubes
  • Tajin seasoning (optional, for rimming the glass)
  • Lime wedges, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. If you'd like to rim your glass with Tajin seasoning, pour some onto a small plate. Wet the rim of a tall glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the Tajin to coat it.
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and hot sauce.
  4. Pour the lime juice mixture over the ice in the glass.
  5. Pour the beer over the top of the lime juice mixture.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
  7. Enjoy your homemade Michelada!
